Summary:
We want to be a faith community that combines digital and in-person spaces, aiming to reach those who do not yet know Christ—especially the new generations.
Why start another church? In Chile, although many people still identify as Christian, secularism is growing rapidly, especially among the new generations, and nearly a third of the population no longer follows any religion. Institutional faith has lost relevance, and the church faces serious image problems, making it urgent to present the faith in a relevant, authentic, and understandable way, offering community and a space for genuine spiritual growth. In this context, Beta.Church emerges as a response that longs to be a community faithful to Christ, embodying and communicating His message clearly and meaningfully for today’s reality; the project will be developed in two stages.

How will the project be carried out? The project will be developed in two stages: first, with a completely digital presence through evangelistic courses, reflections, and online activities especially aimed at those exploring the Christian faith and wanting to grow spiritually; then, after a few months, we will begin in-person meetings in small groups in the city of Concón, Valparaíso Region — a growing area that currently does not have a Free Methodist Church presence, with the location to be confirmed and announced in due course. These initial gatherings will be held in homes, cafés, and other informal spaces, prioritizing closeness, trust, and the building of genuine community.
