About us<\/a> \u2013 Vision, Mission, and Values<\/a> \u2013 Four Characteristics<\/a> \u2013 Free Methodist Church<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

I, Karina Guti\u00e9rrez Seguel<\/b><\/span>, am completing my Bachelor\u2019s degree in Christian Ministry and Spiritual Formation at Abilene Christian University, with honors. I am currently in the ordination process within the Free Methodist Church. Since the age of 15, I have been actively involved in faith communities, collaborating in areas such as spiritual growth groups, youth mentoring, and intercultural projects.<\/p>\n

As for me, Mario Bravo Lamas<\/b><\/span>, I experienced a profound spiritual transformation at the age of 16 in a church in Temuco, which marked the beginning of a journey of growth in faith and service to others. I am a psychologist with a Master\u2019s in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and I was ordained as an Elder by the Free Methodist Church in 2018\u2014a global family of Christian churches. I currently teach courses on biblical interpretation, the Gospel and letters of John, and Wesleyan theology at the Alliance Theological Seminary<\/a> and in the Ministerial Formation Program of the Free Methodist Church of Chile.<\/p>\n

Together, we have shared our vocation in various Christian communities, primarily in Chile and the United States, serving as pastors and facilitating spaces for biblical reflection and spiritual formation. Today, we feel a strong calling to serve from and in Chile, with a special focus on the spiritual formation of new generations in an increasingly secular context. In addition, we are launching the Cristoforma<\/b><\/span><\/a> project, which will include, among other initiatives, a podcast<\/a> dedicated to Christian spirituality.

Our commitment is to accompany others in their spiritual growth journeys, create spaces of community, and share teachings that invite us to follow the way of Christ. We believe this path of service and accompaniment is part of a greater calling, and we trust that we will continue to receive guidance and strength to contribute to the well-being of individuals and the strengthening of communities grounded in love, faith, and hope.
