Beta.Church<\/b><\/span> is part of the Free Methodist Church (FMC)<\/b><\/span>, an evangelical Christian denomination rooted in the Methodist movement. This movement began in the 18th century when a group of students at the University of Oxford, under the leadership of John Wesley<\/b><\/span>, sought a spiritual renewal: an active, practical, and committed way of living the Christian faith, centered on daily spiritual growth and integrating love for God and neighbor as a path toward holiness\u2014becoming like Jesus (Matthew 22:37\u201339).<\/p>\n

From this Methodist tradition, the Free Methodist Church<\/b><\/span> was founded in the 19th century in the United States as an effort to live out the gospel more faithfully, promoting freedom, justice, and holiness<\/b><\/span> (Micah 6:8). The mission of the FMC is \u201cto love God, love people, and make disciples,\u201d and its vision is \u201cto bring wholeness to the world through healthy biblical communities of holy people, multiplying disciples, leaders, groups, and churches.\u201d<\/p>\n
